1. While it is considered cool these days to wear a Kaffiyeh or Kaffiye-style scarves all across the world [especially in Europe], the government of Israel advises Israeli travelers not to wear any outwardly Israeli or Jewish clothing when traveling pretty much anywhere in the world. So, not only is it safe to dress in Arab clothes, it’s also cool, while wearing a shirt with a Star of David on it is not cool man.

2. While Israeli filmmakers are making anti-war movies exorcising the demons they obtained in the first Lebanon war [which they portray as Israel's Vietnam], Turkish State TV this week began broadcasting a grotesquely anti-Semitic series showing IDF soldiers as baby killers.
2.1. While Israel, and the Israel-lobby in Washington DC, have refrained from lobbying against Turkey by supporting the Armenians in their efforts to get Congress to pass a resolution recognizing the Armenian genocide, Turkey gets away with broadcasting a TV series depicting Israeli soldiers as genocidal.
3. While the Goldstone Report into Operation Cast Lead found that both Hamas and Israel committed war crimes during the fighting, Hamas has welcomed the UN endorsement of the report, and Israel has condemned it. According to the report, both sides are guilty of war crimes, but only Israel is on the defensive against the political and legal implications of the report on the international scene, while Hamas make a clean getaway.
3.1. While there are more and more countries lining up to talk to Hamas officials and bring them into the diplomatic process, there are more and more countries to which Israeli officers and politicians cannot travel for fear of being arrested under universal jurisdiction legislation.
4. While Hizbullah, which is holding up the formation of a new Lebanese government, and continues to violate UN Security Council resolutions by smuggling weapons into Lebanon from Syria and storing them under civilian homes, Lebanon has become a non-veto-holding member of the UN Security Council. How exactly is that going to work now?

Ugh. This is depressing.
What is the point of this article?
while there are more and more self-styled israeli pundits resorting to half-baked, superficial, see-no-evil propoganda, in which israel never does even the slightest wrong, they fell all good about themselves because they tap into populist sentiment.
but they will be so very ashamed of themselves in the future, for not doing their duty to criticize and push israel in the right direction, and for being cheap mouthpieces for the army and government.
remember that in 20 years.
Ben:
Don’t be so certain that, 20 years hence, people will wonder at the willful blindness of the supporters of the “resistance”.
